BOYLE HEIGHTS &

EAST L.A. IMMIGRANT RIGHTS Network

This page was last updated October 18, 2017

THIS IMMIGRAnt RIGHTS NETWORK WAS CREATED TO ENSURE THAT...

We are empowered and ready to act as individuals, local Institutions, and as a community; to care for and protect the rights of our undocumented immigrant community; and to push back against anti-immigrant policies, expand justice, and opportunity for all folks in our community.

CREATING THE Immigrant RIGHTS Network

Nationally and locally, communities are coming together to organize, strategize and push back against these injustices and the blatant violations of due processes and human rights.  As a community, we are coming together to stand up and push back.

On Wednesday, August 17th 2016, the Promesa Boyle Heights General Assembly voted to add immigrant rights to the Promesa Boyle Heights plan.  In February 2017, we launched the Boyle Heights Immigrant Rights Network to ensure that we are empowered and ready to act as individuals, as local institutions, and as a community, to defend and protect our immigrant community.
